Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Review -- Baby Pink

The Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks are rated 4.3 of out 5 on Makeup Alley. If they are so amazing, why the one I got was so bad?

Well, I heard the the Soft Nude color is the most popular one out of all the lipsticks. I happened to get the color Baby Pink. This is my first lipstick from the Pink family, and I expected it to be wonderful. 

I watched some makeup guru on youtube said the baby pink lipstick is amazing, and everybody should try it, so soon I went to the store and got it. However, when I opened my lipstick and started using it , I was so disappointed!!!!!!!

Not only the color finish is so uneven on my lips, but also the lipstick somehow was melted and it was really gross( This never happened to any of my other lipsticks).

I honestly could not wear this lipstick alone, it is so shimmery. I have to use a lipgloss to put on top of it.

Revlon Nail Polish Review #300 -- Gray Suede 705

Revlon's Gray Suede is simply a classic color. It is so school /work friendly. A soft pink with a bit gray shimmer to it, it is gorgeous!

I heard it is a dupe for OPI Sephora's " Call Your Mother ". Even though I don't own "Call Your Mother", but I have seen people wearing that shade in You-tube videos and it is very similar to Gray Sued.

 This is Revlon's Gray Suede.

In these pictures, I painted two coats of Revlon's Gray Suede, without a base or top coat.

 Overall Rating:


 I would give this nail polish 4 stars. Great color, pretty good quality, better consistency than other Revlon nail polishes.

Maybelline Define a Lash Length Review

The name of the mascara is "Maybelle Define a Lash Length" mascara. 

I took the first picture of my own mascara and the second picture is to show you what the wand looks like. 

When I first got this mascara I was very excited to try it out, because Maybelline has fabulous mascaras. 

But, this one is a failure.

I did NOT like this mascara at all! It didn't give me length at all! No length no volume to my lahses whatsoever. It didn't hold curls, it didn't do anything. All it did was adding a thin black color layer to my lashes. 

I really don't recommend this to anyone, no matter how long your lashes are.

Over all  ( out of 5 stars): 2 stars

Revlon Nail Polish Review #2 -- 440 Siren

Such a beautiful color!!! I love this nail polish! It is from some Revlon collection, sorry I couldn't recall what it is.

This is the nail polish color I always wanted, a warm, coral color. Perfect for spring and summer time!

Compare to the Minted nail polish by Revlon( I did a review post on that as well, go check it out), this one has better consistently for sure. In the picture, I have only applies ONE coat of nail polish on each nail and look at the finish! Very even, very vibrant. 

I would definitely recommend this nail polish, looks fun on toe nails too :)

I can totally relate to this song, so  I am here to share it. 

It's a very beautiful song, I think every girl can relate to the lyrics.

Revlon "Minted" nail polish Review

Hello! 

I recently tried Revlon's Minted nail polish. It is a very nice light green color. The color of the nail  polish is very pretty, yet I can't describe it very well. Here is a picture I took to show you the color in the bottle, and on my nails. 

Now lets talk about quality. 

I have tried Revlon nail polishes before, and I didn't really like the quality. 

For this particular nail polish, when I apply the color to my nails, the texture of the nail polish feels like water. I literally applied at least three coats to achieve the look appears on this photo. On the other hand, for my OPI nail polish, I only apply max two coats and I will get a flawless finish. For this Revlon one, even after three coats, the finish still was kind of uneven. 

So, here is a summary of the review:

Color: 5.0 stars, beautiful color.

Quality: 3.5 stars, after about 5 days, it starts to peel off 

Will I buy this again: Yes, more for the color of the nail polish
