Maybelline Eyeshadow in "Chocolate Mousse " Review

All three colors look very beautiful, however, I still don't like this trio. As you can see from the swatches that I did, colors are not very pigmented. The darkest color is more like a matte eyeshadow, the other two are more shimmery. My personal favorite is the lightest shade which I use it for highlight. The middle color is so hard to show up on your eye, I recommend using it as a blending color. However the two darker shades look kind of dirty on my eyes.... I know I can't really pull of any darker eye-shadows. 

Can't really give a rating on this trio, we have a love/hate relationship.

The Royal Wedding!

Prince William & Kate's wedding was absolutely beautiful!

Updated "Read My Palm" and "revlon suede gray " pics

* NOTE:

Sephora by OPI nail polishes can be so great without a base/top coat. They don't chip or peel for like 3 weeks for me. For the Revlon brand however, without a good base coat, the color will start to chip from the tip of you nails like in 5 days. The previous posts on all Revlon's nail polishes, I didn't use a base coat, therefore they didn't last on my nails for very long. However, recently, I got a base coat and I used it before applying all my Revlon nail polishes, and I found Revlon nail polishes can stay on my nail just as long as the Sephora by OPI brand. I'm in love with Revlon nail polishes right now. Anywho, I feel like I didn't give fair rating previously on these nail polishes.......

I will continue to post updates on Revlon nail polishes, as well as trying some new colors :0

Wet N Wild Trio in Walking on Eggshells 380B Review

Here are some pictures :

My Descriptions:

Browbone color is a white shimmery color.

Crease color is a shimmery bronze brown. 

Eyelid color is a soft pink. 

Personally, I like the pink color the best, second the crease color, and browbone color is my least favorite. Browbone color is very chalky, when you apply it on your eyes it looks really like white chalk....... I don't know how else to describe it. I wouldn't use it for highlight because it's too shimmery and powdery. 

The other two colors are good, I like them. They are pigmented and beautiful. 

Overall:

B, 4.0 Stars

Another thing, I am currently in love with this perfume:

OMG I love the smell!!!!!! It's so seductive and fresh! Great perfume for summer! 

I highly recommend this!

Recently went to the Cheesecake factory with friends. Here are some pictures:

e.l.f. Essentials Brightening Eye Color Quads Review

All the colors available

E.L.F 's Essentials Brightening Eye Color Quad retails for $1. I have two of them, they are:

Butternut 

and 

Nouveau 

Neutrals

Here are the swatches for both quads:

^ Top Row is the Butternut quad, bottom row is the Neutrals quad. Swatches are in the order as shown above. 


Note: for the Butternut quad, the middle two colors are not as pigmented as the other two.

For the Neutrals quad, the middle two are more pigmented than the other two. Also, the second color is actually a dark green color.


I am very impressed with these quads, both of them are great quality products, and they are cheap!

ELF "Matte Finisher" Nail Polish Review

 ELF Matte Finisher nail polish.

This nail polish finish is only $1, which is great price for a top coat finish. 

Matte finish just means, after you applied your nail polish, you apply a coat of this on top of it, it will make your nail colors look matte. 

Just just an eyeshadow, there are matte and shimmer finishes. 

I applied it on top of "read my palm" nail color from Sephora OPI.

Beautiful! Look at that! It applies so smoothly and the brush is so big and so easy to use!

I am very impressed! 

Absolutely love it.

Mac Blush In Gingerly

Where should I start? Hum..

The one color in the white box is called Gingerly - a MAC Blush. 

Here's a picture of Gingerly in the pan:

See, the color on the MAC website is a bit different from the color you see from the pan! Very deceiving! In fact, either of these two colors are the true color of Gingerly. 

I found it a lot like Benefit's Dallas powder. 

Benefit Dallas

Both Gingerly and Dallas can be used as a blush or bronzer. When you put on Gingerly, no matter what skin tone you have, it will look good on you. For me, it matches my natural blush color, which is really nice. 

We all know Kim Kardashian loves to blushes. Reportedly, one of Kim Kardashian's favorite blush is MAC Gingerly. Kim K is known for her beautiful glowing cheeks, and Gingerly will do that for you. 

Shame on me I didn't do a swatch on the blush. I feel bad to put another blogger's swatch picture on here....You can certainly Google them.

Also, Gingerly is a sheer tone blush, it doesn't mean it is very sheer. It's very pigmented and you can build up the color without looking cakey.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review

So this is a review on the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. I think we all have seen the commercials for this foundation. I really like the slogan of the"FIT ME" line, "Don't change me, Don't cover me, Fit ME."

While the slogan sounds really cool, I didn't really like the foundation. 

I'm glad at CVS I got a sample that has all the shades of this foundation(See picture)

Cool Stuff!

As you can see, I have already tried on some shades and so far none of them really matched me yet. However, this sample was really helpful to me, because I get to test the texture, the consistency, and the color of this new foundation.

So, I have decided to try number 230.

This is what the foundation looks like. Very thick...

Over all: "FIT ME" Foundation

1. You need to find the right color to match your face, or otherwise you'll look really dark .

2. The texture is a bit thick, therefore hard to blend.

3. Your face will look a bit shiny after applying the foundation, therefore I think people with oily skin should avoid this foundation.

4. Coverage is good. Medium to Full coverage.

5. There's no pump this foundation, you have to pour the product out.

Sephora O.P.I "Read My Palm" Nail Polish Review

"Read My Palm" Nail Polish 

Read My Palm is a gorgeous turquoise like green color. I think the only way to describe this nail polish color is simply the word gorgeous! 

Not only the color is fabulous, the quality of this nail polish is also excellent!

Note* I didn't apply very carefully therefore the finish isn't so even

I don't use a base coat or top coat when I apply this nail polish, and the color doesn't chip or peel off for like weeks. It's insane!

 Over all:

Color: 5 Stars (out of 5)

Quality: 5 stars!!! ( out of 5)
